Short title (technical amendment)

Sec. 1 Short title. This Act may be cited as the the Artificial Intelligence Video Interview Act. (Source: P.A. 101-260, eff. 1-1-20.)

This section makes a non-substantive technical change to the short title provision of the Illinois Artificial Intelligence Video Interview Act. The amendment strikes one instance of the article 'the' and re-inserts it as underlined new text — a stylistic correction with no operative legal effect.

No covered entity, covered platform, obligation, definition, or enforcement provision is created or modified. Practitioners should treat HB 496 as housekeeping legislation; substantive obligations remain governed by the unchanged provisions of the underlying Act.
